Human's appearance in the future
#1
The human body has suffered a lot of modifications due to the changes in climate. Thus, scientists tried to draw a picture on how the human is expected to look in the future. The body is adjusting to the environment, that's why changes are unavoidable.

Nose - will become bigger because it will need more time for filtering the polluted air. Also, it's expected that hair in the nose will become denser and longer.

Eyes - will become small, similar to a pig's nose. That's because it will be difficult for them to support the chemical substances for the atmosphere.

Lungs - will augment and will change its structure. That's because the lungs will have to work out a new system for filtering the air.

Liver - since its main function is to clean the blood, the liver will increase in dimensions.

Skin - will become rougher and thicker for being more resistant to pollution.

Hair - will disappear in the result of climate warming.

Bone structure - the man will become slender and short in height. That's due to the lack of D vitamin, as a consequence of the poor quantity of sun light and poor-quality food.

Here's a picture of the possible future human

did you see aliens with your own eyes? Confusedhock:
actually this is a scientific fact, and if we don't change the climate this is how the human is expected to evolve. I don't want my grandchildren to look like this.

actually we already look different from our ancestors. People permanently evolve. Every generation has its own understanding about beauty. So, why not, the above picture might represent the beauty in the future.

True, today an average man is 10 cm higher than 100 years ago. I hope this is not the result of radiation, hope it's natural Smile

I am not sure about the appearance, but due to hi-tech we will become more intelligent. Also, our jaws may become a bit different, due to the difference of food people used to eat in the past and the one we will consume in the future.

hope we're not going to look this way

Our appearance will change due to the change of style and things we'll wear on us.

I believe in the future the average age of life will extend. This is due to better conditions offered for respectable living. Thus, we will have many many aged, and very few young people.

Not correct. Take into considerations the gas emissions, the air/water/soil pollution. People already start to die because of these reasons. I'm afraid to forecast the future in this matter Cry
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

Benn, it's an open question actually. African people don't live long, even though their air is absolutely clean. They die because of poor living conditions.

Humans are already changing considerably by making themselves plastic surgeries. The technique for these surgeries are developing fast. I think in the future they will make it possible to change absolutely the human's look. So no natural evolution will prevail

I doubt. But even it if happens, governments will need to adopt a law forbidding, for example, several plastic surgeries or fixing quotas for plastic surgeries during a year. Otherwise criminality will grow fast.

Do you really think humans will be different in the future? I don't think physical appearance is going to be affected. What will really be affected is the emotional/moral part. People will think and act differently, but men will still be men and women will be women.

Damn, that picture of M. Jackson has really freaked me out
I believe human's future appearance will be accompanied by "industrial modifications". Most humans will want to benefit of certain abilities which only robots/computers can. Thus, in the future people might have such modifications on the skin as - holes (for example for USB devices), scars etc.

I hope it won’t be so . People should live in harmony with nature, otherwise the nature won’t “recognise” them. That’s what is happening now… But it’s just the beginning. The man thinks he is cleverer than God.

I don't wanna my children or great children to be so ugly, and I hope humanity won't leave the problem of environment unsolved. But if it really happens, that would be only our fault ....

It's our general tragedy. We should prevent and minimize the process of air pollution in our world. This example is just a theoretical development of our society, which may become a real dramma for us
