PROGRESS WITHOUT HEART IS DANGEROUS - euigorwithyou - 10-20-2008

Avoid making a progress, if you know that you will not be consistent along the way. In other words, don't try to achieve something high, if you think you are going to abandon it. Why? Because you will add up to your regrets one more thing. This is true about any activity, but especially it is true about spiritual advancement. I know a person, who made amazing spiritual progress. Then he decided to abandon his spiritual development. Now his voice it's like a sound coming from a big and empty barrel. The manners, knowledge are still present, but the heart is absent.

So a job must be done entirely and finished, otherwise we should avoid beginning it. I agree, but, even if we're not sure we could rule the project to the end, we could still try doing that, because attempts are important for self-encouraging yourself.

There are many ancient legends promoting the idea of sacrification. Of course we can't sacrifice ourselves for things we are doing, but, we can definitely put a "piece of us" into it.
