DO YOU NEED TO KEEP AN EMOTIONAL DISTANCE? - euigorwithyou - 09-18-2008

Don’t get emotionally involved with the stupidity of other person. He is in search for his self-punishment. Don’t get too much attached emotionally because you risk losing your dignity. Just set some rules to deal with his stupidity.

For example, a colleague of mine, had a habit of attacking verbally listless people. His motives were to rather funny: he wanted to see at, least once in a life, their sincerely smiling faces. This was rather unreasonable, because he was thinking about listless people more than it was necessary. And very soon his mind got persuaded by thoughts about those people.

Distant yourself from stupidity! Why? Because you may find yourself attached to it and be part of it, consciously or unconsciously.

another problem appears here - separating good things from stupidity. I once used to be fond of cats. so I had 3 of them at home. I loved them so much that I didn't notice my house was turining into a disaster. When I realized that, I took the cats and left them in the forest.

being fond of animals is not the worst example. Being sick of gambling is much more dangerous and may consequently make all your life a disaster.

He is in search for his self-punishment. - -- this is going to be a golden rule for me.
