EUROVISION 2008. Who will win? - M.Helen - 05-20-2008

Today is the big day, I’ve been expecting it for a long time, the EUROVISION song contest 2008. My favorourite is the Georgian participant, she’s blind but a really nice girl. Who is your favourite? Wink

It would not be fair by me to give vote to Serbia, because I am from Serbia, and the singer is from my town. Actulay and the last year winer is from my town Smile.

I give my vote to Armenia. Song is nice, and the singer is wery beautiful :love

I must say that I am disapointed by the new generations (I am 26 years old), and not only in Serbia .How people can wote for someone whos voice is like voice of some boy in choir of wien boys. About that violin, in Serbia we have proverb: Its not important that much whit wath(?) you are doing something, it is much more important how are you doing it.

Yesterday Russia have won! Congratulations!
I think Bosnia and Herzegovina was the best, and Greece was better then Russia.
France could have more votes. The song was very good!

It was so glamoruous and nice, I was stunned! For couple of years I have forgot about Eurovision, but now it gained back its shiny looks. I am proud again that I live in Belgrade.

I found this articul on yahoo news about this Eurovision,
So i thought it's god idea to bring it here in this forum!

Eurovision about politics, not songs: Wogan Sun May 25, 8:08 AM ET

LONDON (AFP) - Veteran TV commentator Terry Wogan, said he may never cover the Eurovision song contest again because he is sick of politically motivated bloc voting.
Wogan said western European nations were being shut out after Russia won Saturday's contest in Belgrade with "Believe", sung by Dima Bilan, giving an eastern European nation victory for the third time in five years.
At one point in his commentary for the BBC, as Russia's neighbours and former Soviet states repeatedly gave high marks for "Believe", Wogan said "the word has gone out" that it was "Russia's turn this year".
"You have to say that this is no longer a music contest," Wogan said. "I have to decide whether I want to do this again.
"Western European participants have to decide whether they want to take part from here on in,
because their prospects are poor."
Serbia won the contest in 2007, Finland won in 2006, Greece took the honours in 2005 and Ukraine won in 2004.
Wogan, 69, was also angry that British entry Andy Abraham finished in joint last place, despite having a song that many observers though was better than recent British entries.
"It's a disappointment, considering that Andy Abraham gave, I think, the performance of his life with a song that certainly deserved more marks than it got," Wogan said.
" It just isn't funny any more."

I consider that the UN or FN Stasbourg Court shall take this in to it's account and by the international law anti-pleague copyrighted materials, it shall be striped off from serbia as a wining song contest, and return to the owner...! Smile

I found one other Albanian song, stolen from serbians later and making hit on their countrie, serbs did it again..!
Yeah ewen churches have trye to steal from Kosovars, and anything they could bring with them, :deg 8-)

Re: EUROVISION 2008. Who will win? - fim - 05-28-2008

It was bull-shit from rusia, the guy was layng down on the flor like homo,
and his voice was no where, no god melody at all, I think people voted them politicaly
to go in the same trane, to give them a bit hoppe for future and not to be so unfrendly. :?
The second song I heard in youtube.com was from Grees, and I thin it was much better than the rusian...
but it was a bit old song I gues! ;-)
