Currently, players will be able to explore the lands of Azeroth, Khaz Modan, Lordaeron, and the newly discovered lands of Kalimdor. Players familiar with the Warcraft series will find that we have depicted nearly every location from the Warcraft universe in World of Warcraft.

Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms, Outland, and Northrend all in respective order of level. Yes they will be very familiar to Warcraft 1, 2, and 3 fans, especially Outland and Northrend.

In the world of Azeroth, there is Eastern Kingdoms (Home of Humans, Dwarves, Gnomes, Undead and Blood Elves) and Kalimdor (Home of Night Elfs, Taurens, Orcs, Draenei and Trolls). Once you reach level 58+ in the game, you are able to reach the Outlands, home of Illidan Stormrage (Level 70 Boss.) Once you reach level 68+, you are able to enter the latest zone, Northrend. Ruled by the Lich King, or if you played some of the earlier Warcraft games (Frozen Throne) you may know him as Arthas. He is a level 80 boss which has not yet been released into the game. He will be implanted in the next patch or the one after that. (Current patch is 3.0.3, next is 3.0.8)

I play Warcraft, and it is just amazing. I can't stop playing it.
