Can you log onto world of warcraft in 2 different computers?

Postby Arantar » 27 Jan 2011, 04:52

My friend and i are going to start playing world of warcraft and were gonna share an account.. since you can make more than 1 character on the account... I was just wondering can he and i both be logged in to world of warcraft at the same time on different computers..??? Wil the game let you do that?

Nope. One of you will be disconnected when the other tries to log on. Also be careful about shared accounts. Not only for security reasons but I think you are not suppose to do that at all. Not sure about that one. But I know you can't log in twice like that. My friend logged onto mine when I was on and it kicked me off.

No, whoever logs in 2nd will Disconnect the other person who was already logged in. If you're both just starting I reccomend a trial account. It's free(For 7 days), you can get to level 20 so you get a good feel for the game.

Enjoy the addiction. :)

No. When someone logs into your account as you play you get kicked off also if it happens enough times blizz with give you a temp ban to find out what is going on with the abnormality. Also sharing accounts is against the ToS and if you get hacked and they find out you were sharing accounts they don not have to nor would they be likely to give you a account restore.

Nope, Only 1 person can be on 1 account. Otherwise it'll DC(disconnect) the other person who was on it.

No.
If both of you want trial accounts though, i can do Recruit a Friend on you, and both of you get 10 day trials and +300% xp gain when your with me on my server (Eredar) - Give it a try, email me at wakeboardsean@yahoo.com , ill set ya up, all i would need is your email and your good to go. Ive got an 80 hunter so i could run you through what ever and lvl you up in a giff.

You will get banned because your not supposed to share accounts if you want to make 2 accounts i would suggest using the recruit a friend mode(go on worldofwarcraft.com for more info) you get to level up really really really really fast
