Should I Travel With A Travel Buddy Or Can I Go It Alone In Finland?

should i travel with a travel buddy or can i go it alone in Finland?

Is it ok to go alone in Finland? Or should i take someone with me?
I get easily annoyed with people if i have to spend a lot of time with them so i might end up leaving them there if they bug me.
Is it safe to travel alone in finland? I will be there for 3 months. Are the people nice? are they nice to Australians?

I have travelled in Finland alone as well as with family and enjoyed it more by myself.

Your decision should be based on past travel experiences.

It is safe to travel alone in SUOMI and yes, the people are very nice though sometimes not very talkative.

I am not from Australia so I don't know how nice they would be to you, but if you learn more than a few words of Finnish then I'd imagine they'll open up a little more.

The way I see it, there are nice and not nice people in all countries.

It shouldn't matter where you're from, it's how you conduct yourself.

I prefer travelling with company, but the time I went to Finland I ended up being alone due to immigration office issues, the rest of the group had to leave me behind at the border coz they were getting late.

I was safe, met the most interesting people along the way and found my way to where I was going in a most humorous manner.

Learn some common phrases, like how to greet, thank you and how to apologise.

How do you do?- Terve (Ter-veh)
How are you?- Mitta Kuluu (mee-tah koo-loo)
Fine- Hyvaa (Hoo-vah)
Thank you- Kiitos (kee-toss)
Bye- Nakemiin (Nah-ke-meen)
Sorry- Anteeksi (an-teh-xee)
My name is......- (mee-ka-on nsee-no nimi.....)

My keyboard does not have the funky letters they use, but what you need is the pronunciation, not the spelling, right? ;)

They were nice to me. Most people I met spoke some English.

Have fun!
