Is it a good idea to travel to Germany at Villingen Schwenningen with an 18 months old baby?

I want to travel with my wife and our baby to Germany at Villingen Schwenningen at my cousin's to stay with him for about a week but we r afraid that having a baby with us will not let it be as fun as we're expecting.

So what do u think? What can we do there? We r not interested in night life there anyway, so about sight seeing and visiting other nearby countries?

Well personally I would not travel with a 18 month old it also depends a bit will you depend on public transport or have a car once you are in Villingen Schwenningen the city is not really big but by car the Black forest is easy to reach and quite close but again to hike with a 18 month old is out of question unless you want to carry the baby.

Switzerland is not far away at least if you have a car, by public transport and with a 18 month old too much of a hassle to my personal opinion.
