I want to travel to Greece or Egypt mostly Greece, from la but i do not know how much will the total cost be (including hotel, food, and souvenirs) can someone tell me the estimate amount. Oh for two people.

I just booked my trip to Greece from LA. It was $890, 8 day with round trip flight and hotel. Try the end of March on a weekday and the return also on a weekday.

It depends when you want to go. Now it will be much cheaper than it would be in the summer. Right now you can get a round-trip ticket for about $800 but in the summer it might be more like $1200 per person. Because the airlines are suffering due to the economy, they might be offering some kind of special and u could possible get a lower price.

Hotels will cost you at least $100 per night. Depends on the place.

Food....well....do you like to eat a lot? A hundred dollars a day might suffice for the both of you if u don't go to fancy places.

I think you probably should go to travel specialist , they can get youa a proper plan, so can work over it.

Greece is not a cheap country. Prices have rocketed since the adoption of the euro in 2002. So particularly for accommodation and restaurant meals you have to more. A rock-bottom daily budget for a solo traveller would be €45 and at least €90 per day if you want your own room and plan to eat out, travel about and see the sights.
