How to study and understand biology when english is your second language?
#1
I'm a freshman biology major. I'm having a hard time studying and understanding the material in class largely because I don't speak English as well as my classmates. My english isn't too bad, but it's not yet to the level of my first language. It's not only Biology but all my science courses. DO you guys have any tips that can help me?

If you do not read English well enough to understand the textbook or if the English textbook is not helping you understand the lectures, try to obtain a good textbook for the subject of the class in your first language. You might be able to find one online, especially if your first language is French, German, or Japanese and you look at the amazon.com websites for these languages. I am not sure if amazon has sites in other languages besides these and English.
