What is more important: career or family
#1
Many young people prefer to do a career first , and start a family after. So, making career may take a lot of time. What is the most appropriate time to start a family and how not to lose your only chance.
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

Of course more important is family, because career may be on a short period of time but family is for all life. Besides family need attention, feelings, money, that is why career also occupy a great important role in all people's life. without career you can't have a good life with your family. the important thing is to know measure in working hours and family time. is important to find a good middle.

For me, there is no choice. I couldn't bear to have a child that I couldn't look after. I need to earn a regular wage which will cover rent, bills, food and childcare costs (which are as much as the rent!) Of course, it would be nice to work flexible hours, and put the child to bed sometimes ;-)

Of course it is dangerous to wait too long: children with older parents (~40) are at higher risk of having autism and schizophrenia. This is true for men aswell as women!

You cannot rely on getting married before this age :-( society condemns older mothers, but celebrates men who screw around and father children at an old age! There are a number of men in my town who reject local girls, and buy a bride from Thailand or Russia when they are older :nonnon Even if you get married, divorce rates are rising.

In the USA, and now in Europe too, there is an increase in "Choice Motherhood." This is when a single professional woman choses to have a child using a sperm donor. If you want to have a child before you are too old, but cannot find a boyfriend/husband, this is a possible option.

This is why you must work at your career, and be prepared to become a single parent.
