mmmm... it's nice, similar to certain Greek towns. I'm sure there are modern cities as well.

I've never spent winter holidays in mountains. Is it worth it?
Reply

#36
I didn`t too, but i`m sure it`s worth...

Where are you from, Hakan?

I'm from Turkey, and we don't have that much of a snow during winters. In fact - it rarely happens.

For me a perfect holiday is a summer holiday. Winter is cold and monotone

That is right if you are in some place where snow don`t falls at winter, where you can`t practice winter sports, and likely things...

For me, winter is likewise summer, both of theese two season have its beautyes... ;-)

It`s very nice! You can play all day outside, where is cold (it`s very good for your body, healthy Wink ), when you get hungry, or other, you can get in your cottage, or hotel- where is pleasantly warm...its beautifull...

some doctors even recommend their patients to have holidays in mountains, during the wintertime, because its fresh air may treat or clean up the blood and the body as a whole.

Hey, Patko! Could you say where exactly some of your photos were taken? I like the look of the wooden village you posted... :-) I also love those cottages on Jahorina! Are they in the Olympic complex, or can you just visit?

Jahorina seems to be a good place for tourists. Now Patko, you must be lucky living in Bosnia and Herzegovina, since there are many interesting things to do there.
While I was searching some information I found this wonderful picture
[Image: miro_jahorina3.JPG]
I imagined myself instead of that guy and it really makes me wanna try a parachute jump in that area.

Imagine yourself now that you are the following guy

If I have an opportunity, I won't let it run away from me.
By the way, isn't Bosnia and Herzegovina separate states now? Or maybe I'm confusing something with Serbia and Montenegro?

Hey Patko, can you tell us some price ranges for one of villas you posted in your photos. It looks like a dreamland to me, and would be interested to know some price quotes from, you as some tourist agencies could charge me big, and it would help me to look for a reasonable price.

Also I would like to know if renting a villa includes the food or smth like this. Thank you! Smile

rest is should be payed when you come Smile

I don`t know is there any arangements from Turkey, you could search for it, and see what you like most...

The prices range from 30 to 100 (very rare) euros per day, which I believe is not a problem for a European to afford for a nice resting.
I found a nice winter pansion offering all the necessary facilities. Here is the distance from public places to this pansion

Center: 750 m
Supermarket: 80 m
Bank: 750 m
Restaurant: 80 m
Disco club: 750 m
Museum: 750 m
Medical service: 1,000 m
Pharmacy: 1,000 m
Bus station: 10,000 m
Airport: 15,000 m

To me it's quite comfy. So if you decide to contact them, visit this link
