What does the sport of CRICKET have to do to be popular in the USA?

Postby Minnie » 24 Jan 2011, 02:57

Let's not lie to ourselves, Football is the greatest sport in the US right now, but no one gives a crap about Rugby or even Soccer.

Baseball is in 2nd place, and no one gives a crap about Cricket.

What would the sport of Cricket have to change in order to be as popular as Baseball in America?

For example, what types of rule changes?

and an extra question, Which sport is better? And if Baseball is truly better, why does Cricket continue to exist?

It has to:

1) Generate a lot of revenue

2) Involve a lot of action and suspense (like football and b-ball)

If youre asking what Cricket has to do in order to be more popular in the US, maybe you should go somewhere else because i dont ever think that cricket is going to be as popular as many other sports. However, maybe snooty rich people can enjoy the game of cricket for wat it really is, becuae i know that i dont
