I'm applying to colleges right now and I have different majors in my mind, mostly business/marketing. I'm a huge fan of sports and I'm wondering what sports news reporters major in in college?

You actually sound like you are in a similar position to me, i would like to do live radio broadcasts. But sinnce i'm realistic i am majoring in business and minoring in comm.

Journalism, language, and sport. It helps to be a top athlete as they get offered roles in the media. Try doing some freelance articles for your local paper on local sports events

so you could either double major or minor in it
