FIFA, debarred Iraq from international competition for one year.
The suspension is due after the dissolution of Iraq's executive Olympic committee and its federations by the government last Wednesday, according to FIFA's website.
Poor country, so many troubles and now in football either.

I thought they have a new government that is controlled ("influenced") more or less by the west. 
Some of the world's greatest feats were accomplished by people not smart enough to know they were impossible.
