How TO AVOID The INFERIORITY COMPLEX

How TO AVOID the INFERIORITY COMPLEX

Postby euigorwithyou » 02 Dec 2008, 18:19

People have a tendency to compare themselves with others. They also try to imitate those persons, who are “one head above” them. And there is nothing wrong with that. There is, though, one hidden problem. Mentally one can imagine that he is at the level of his role model. Even though he can imitate his role model almost perfectly for a little while, this can not last. The soul, knowledge, skill ability and the mindset are not yet there, at that level. The subconscious is not late in transmitting the message of inadequacy immediately, and continuously. As a result, the person develops the inferiority complex. So, what to do? Don’t abandon your higher goals. But give yourself much more time, avoiding the desire to be exactly like your role model today, this instant. It doesn’t matter that this could take three or more years. The important thing is to achieve your goal

It's better to imitate the one who is "one head above" than to imitate the weak one. If you imitate the weak part of the person, this means you are weak yourself.

patience is the key to achieving goal. Many refuse and give up doing something just because they are tired. And this is the biggest mistake. Big success requires much time.
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

True, in order to achieve what you planned to do you must set a goal and every day make a pace towards it. A second thing that you should do is to train in perseverance and have patience. :)

Bear in mind that every human being in this world is different; no one face or body is the same. Your 'inferiority' as you may refer to it, can also be seen as a unique or individual quality. What makes you feel these things are 'inferior' to everyone else? If there is no norm amongst human beings, how can there possibly be any form of inferiority?
