How do I get the motivation to do my work better?

I'm in school and I have pride in having straight A's but lately I've been slacking off my work and now I'm having C's and only 1 A, how do I get the motivation to do things better? Or is it usual?

it is normal, but what you are doing is looking at the small picture of grades. you need to determine what you want to do after school and set targets towards it such that grades will thus be a stepping stone to wards a bigger goal.
