HOW COULD SELF-SUGGESTION DAMAGE YOU ?

Postby euigorwithyou » 14 Oct 2008, 07:44

Self – suggestion, if not conducted properly, could be a continuous source of stress. Some people try through self-suggestion to cheat their subconscious. The gap between the real situation (signaled to them by their subconscious) and the situation they imagine through self – suggestion is huge. This gap creates a conflict in their mind and could be a permanent source of stress.

That's why we should watch things objectively. In crisis situations it's the most difficult thing to do. Actually, self-suggestion is not quite self-suggestion, it still is the result of the things happening and people surrounding you.
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

sometimes auto suggestion works in our benefit. For example when we breathe we are the best and will be the first! there is always some good and some bad in things. I prefer to see the good part.

matter very much what type of self-suggestion is. if a maniac that shoved in his head that all are bad and should be killed because otherwise would they kill them, then self-suggestion becomes a mental illness .... but if a person has autosugerat he wants to be good, to change his behavior and way of life for a better one then it is a big plus.
