London: Employment litigation locum - EUjobs - 06-17-2008
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within one the nations leading employment litigation groups.Based in Holborn, this role will challenge and add value to your CV.
You will undertake work for employment tribunals, working closely with witnesses, drafting instructions for council and liaising with other lawyers and law firms.
Working to short deadlines, you will be a pivotal member in this team, working towards its success and goals while managing your own caseload.
The key purposes of the job are:
·To provide a high quality, professional and cost effective litigation service that achieves client satisfaction, and contributes to the achievement of Agency, Division and Team objectives.
·To be accountable for all aspects of each allocated case from outset to case completion.
The successful candidate will be 1-3 years post qualified experience either overseas or in the UK, with at least three months UK legal experience.
You should have previous litigation and drafting exposure and experience, and taking witness statements would be an advantage.
This temporary role is for three months initially, with a possible extension of up to twelve months.
The office environment is bright, and while the team is hard working, it is a friendly and harmonious atmosphere, providing you with the opportunity to further enhance your previous legal experience.
