Atheists, how did you arrive at the logical conclusion that Atheism was the best path to follow? - Addie34 - 01-27-2011

I mean quite often I see people say they became atheists after studying and questioning different religions. They say they evaluated these religions and then reached the conclusion that they're all wrong.

So my question is, how exactly did you evaluate atheism? What practical questions did you ask about atheism? What kind of research did you carry out on atheism? What questions did you about atheism? What arguments for atheism did you initially counter?

Serious answers please. Thanks.

Atheism is the default position. You'd need to have seen some kind of persuasive evidence in order to be anything else, and of course there isn't any.
