No silly answers please. It is for biology and I need specific words and stuff. We had a cover teacher for the lesson and she didn't explain it to us because she teaches Spanish so...

The injured person may have internal injuries, e.g collapsed lung, blood clots, so its always best to wait for the doctors. Hope this helps!

If a persons neck is broken and their not moved properly by some one who knows how to move a person with a broken neck, and place a neck brace on them the person could have a spinal injury and die, right then and there.

The reasons range from trauma to the brain, spine, as well as compression injuries being made much worse. Qualified medical people are the only ones who should move a person that was on a motorcycle, who was involved in an accident. If you want better than this, I would advise you to go to a doctor, especially an emergency room doctor, and interview one of them.

Motorcycle offer NO support for the neck (like the high seat backs in cars do). A very common injury from motorcycles is a broken neck.
Until that neck can be braced to protect it, you should NEVER move a person who's been in a motorcycle accident.

The question has generally been answered but I would add that if there was an ongoing high risk of further injury e.g. fire/drowning hazard or their position completely compromised their airway therefore to leave the victim then would lead to unavoidable death but moving them would at least give them a chance for survival.

A fracture of the spine may cause the spinal cord to be damaged which can lead to complete paralysis. If there is a crush injury and they're trapped for a long time under a heavy object, it may release myoglobin from the muscles into the bloodstream, which can combine with oxygen and lead to suffocation. There could also be internal injuries or haemorrhaging resulting from fractures of other bones.
