"travelling relations" - Terry - 06-03-2008

My wife has just left the country. She uses to travel on business trips. My problem is that she travels too much, and we have not enough time to see each other and make whatever a couple needs to do…
When I married her, I wasn’t hoping to have such a life. Help me people, should I divorce her?

Re: "travelling relations" - sara - 06-03-2008

hi its your right to divorce her since she doesnt do her duty as a wife, but first talk to her about your problems with her.

sara, you are right. If doesn't work anymore, terry, don't loose your time waiting for a miracle...the life goes on!

Re: "travelling relations" - Terry - 06-03-2008

Terry, you should discuss with her, talk about what you feel and think about you marriage, and try together to find a solution to this problem.
if you wife is not ready or is not willing to do so,then you should definetely divorce

thank you n.xee, but these are not exactly simple reasons, it is quite serious.
You know I talked to her today, she said she loves me, but she has to work and there are a lot of business trips left to do...

Re: "travelling relations" - Terry - 06-05-2008

but you're wrong, her business trip are not going to end soon. She is just at the beginning of her career!

Re: "travelling relations" - clearman - 06-05-2008

If she loves her career first........in this case I dont see you like a normal family (with kids) in next 10 years. :nonnon
Talk with her, man!

Re: "travelling relations" - Benn - 06-05-2008

that is why it is better to find a traditional wife, cooking at the kitchen, caring the house etc. than one who has its business!

Re: "travelling relations" - Faw_Peter - 09-08-2008

I would never marry a girl who's in permanent business. I mean I wanna be the "man" in the house. Consider me old-fashioned Smile

What kind of job is that anyway? A pilot?

Re: "travelling relations" - Terry - 10-19-2008

she's working as the main foreign representative in a Marketing Research group. That's why she always has to travel and make presentations for the group in different countries. My God, I stopped counting how many countries she's visited, but I think it's over 30...
