London: Waiter ess - EUjobs - 02-10-2009
Waiter/ess required at our bar/restaurant in the City of London. We are a modern establishment occupying semi basement premises with outside area catering for approximately 60 covers. We are situated near the Law Courts and barristers' chambers and our regular clientele is mainly professional people.
Open Monday to Friday only, the work requirement is 5 days plus at least 2 evening shifts. Private weekend functions are occasionally held by prior arrangement.
Our applicant should be an outgoing person with a pleasant, friendly manner, who works well within a team and is able to deal efficiently with telephone enquiries and bookings. A sense of humour is also helpful! Some experience of bar work and knowledge of wines would be an asset. Fluent spoken and written English is essential.
