Re: Russia: The Awakening - Frederic - 08-18-2008

After clashes in the Georgian region of South Ossetia, Russia invaded its neighbor, launching attacks that threaten its very existence.
Dear sid,
After Clashes means after clashes and not invasion of Georgia. yes, there were clashes provoked by Russians and Ossetians. During months local georgian population has been leavin under permanent attacks. And Russian so called peace keepers failed to do anything to defend them. As they have actually never been peace keepers, but representatives of one party of the conflict

Re: Russia: The Awakening - Terry - 08-18-2008

If Russian peacemakers didn't stay at the border between Georgia and South Osetia the war between these regions would be inevitable.

Re: Russia: The Awakening - SiD - 08-18-2008

Well Lenus, using your analogy would you blame person whom you intrusted safety of your house for opening to a rober claiming he is policeman but will rob him if he opens the door?

Well I am surprised that MCCAIN havent told that after georgia tried to spread flowers, love, peace, happines and wealth in S Osetia bad Russia started its invasion to take it all from his little, majestick, peacefull, beutifull democracy.
If he told after clashes it speaks quite volums to me.

SiD,

Sure, but there are degrees of blame.
And under no circumstances I would put that person in jail. Also, If I was a Judge, wouldn't even consider an argument like "Serviceman made a mistake and opened the door himself".

Mistake is a mistake. Crime - another level.

I beleive we are going to witness some funny times if McCain is elected.
Watch out, Russia! Yankees coming!!

Re: Russia: The Awakening - Blame Russia - 08-19-2008

If McCain is elected it will be very funny, yeah, unfortunately both Russia and USA will only lose in that case. It is just bad that we cant use "save&load" and se if McCain an Zhirinovsky are elected in Usa and Russia respectively. That would be real circus

Unfortunatly price for mistakes of politics is usualy paid by thier own (and other) people.

What i am trying to say that YOUR GOVERNMENT made HUGE MISTAKE in thier foreign relations and now tries to blame Russia for thier mistakes. It is realy easy becouse our planes bombed Georgia and our soldiers are on Georgian soil. I dont expect georgians to love Russia and blame only thier president, i just want to say that there are some people in your country baring responsability for present situation.

Doesn't matter. even if it is a HUGE mistake, it does not reveal Russia of Responsibilities for the Criminal Performance.

OK?

Re: Russia: The Awakening - Eka - 08-20-2008

Name of topic is - Russia : The Awakening.

I want to add Russia is awakening and what it sees : she have two presidents who cannot devide power with each other and she sees Jirinivski, so she gos to sleep again.

Re: Russia: The Awakening - M.Helen - 08-20-2008

what did you mean by "she sees Zhyrinovskyi". He is the opposite of the current governing you know.

M.Helen Wrote:what did you mean by "she sees Zhyrinovskyi". He is the opposite of the current governing you know.
It is a bit rediculous that a person who knows nothing about Solzhenitsin and Gulag, is aware of the political platform of Mr. Zhirinovsky. I am confident about Russia`s future now.

Re: Russia: The Awakening - Benn - 08-20-2008

But Helen is right, Zhyrinovski is in the opposite party. If he was the president, Georgia would have disappeared after South Osetia had been attacked. These are his words

Thanks God he is not the President. But everybody knows that he provides ideological background for Kremlin. Zhirinovsky says what Kremlin dreams about. And it apears now that Kremlin has startted realizing of Zhironovsky`s most wild wishes.

Re: Russia: The Awakening - Benn - 08-20-2008

sure it does. That's why he will never win any president elections due to 2 reasons:
- he will be old by the next elections
- he won't achieve even 20 of votes.

Hakan G Wrote:Can somebody reestablish peace and quiet?
Sure.

Several bulava's, or just one "Tzar Bomba" on Poland and Czech, and there will be peace and quiet again.

Search in youtube.com after "bulava" and "tsar bomb".

You're more than right, my friend. Indeed, It looks like the country is being run by Zhirinovsky

Re: Russia: The Awakening - Faw_Peter - 08-22-2008

That guy is even more dangerous than Stalin was. He is ready to launch any nuclear weapon against anybody that would stumble Russia.

Re: Russia: The Awakening - SiD - 08-22-2008

Gerinivskiy is talking so much that sometimes speaks true. But it is not what cremlin or russian people realy dreaming about. But hey i realy like this one Smile . Bad that you can not see him often, sometimes he is as funny as humorist. He can make talk show realy interesting and intertaining.
