Adana Emniyet Müdürlüğü Terörle Mücadele Şube Müdürlüğü ekipleri, silahlı eylem hazırlığında olduğu iddia edilen El Kaide terör örgütü üyelerinin bulunduğunu saptadığı 25 eve sabah erken saatte eş zamanlı operasyon düzenledi. Şüphelilerin silahla karşılık verme ihtimaline karşı, operasyona Özel Harekat Şube Müdürlüğü görevlileri ile birlikte 300 polis katıldı.

Şüphelilerin bazılarının evlerinde eylemlerde kullanılacağı iddia edilen tabancalar ele geçti. Ayrıca evlerde ele geçen örgütsel dokümanlara el konuldu. Şüphelilerin ABD üs ve konsolosluklarına silahlı eylem hazırlığı içinde olduğu iddia edildi. 20 kişinin gözaltına alındığı Adana ile eş zamanlı olarak Ankara'da da bazı evlere operasyon düzenlendi.

Burada da 11 kişi gözaltına alındı ve şüphelilerden birinin evinden Kalaşnikof marka tüfek ele geçti. Gözaltına alınan şüphelilerin sorguları sürüyor.
