I admire Obama for promising to close Guantanamo Bay, and he appears to good intentions (such as improving welfare for the poor, cutting spending on defence). It should also not be underestimated how important he is for race relations in the USA: he is certainly a strong, positive figurehead, even if he achieves nothing else!

However, Obama does not have absolute power, and he seems to have his enemies in the USA: hence Guantanamo Bay is not closed It will be very interesting to see what happens.

I think is good, he faced many difficult problems in his life and it may be like a experience for him to rule a entire country, I think he will never permit that his country and its people to confront that problems which he confronted in its life.
