You enumirated some events without described their reasons to be, besides most of them are not occupation, for example, some territories of actual Ukraine (such country never existed before, it begins its history from 1991 ) and Georgia joined voluntarily, if Georgia had not done it, it would have become a part of Turkey. I wasn't in south ossetia when all these things started but i definitely know that there are a lot of evacuees there, they were moved to north ossetia and abkhazia (i've got a few ossetian friends there, believe my words.)I think there was some kind of a big provocation (which resulted in civilian and PK casualties) by georgians, and it worked at first time. Western mass media started claiming Russians as "aggressors", "bad guys", and Georgians as "victims". However Saakashvili did not expect that Russians will respond so hard, destroying almost every military object in Georgia making their troops surrender. Yes, now georgians are crying that they were under fire. Pff, what did you guys expected? This is war and men will die. You've lost your chance of peaceful coexistence with us when you elected Saakashvili. Dont blame Russia for foolishness and short-sightness of your own president.
Please don't think i am anti-georgian. No, i have several georgian friends here in moscow, i feel very pity and sorry for them, it is a big tradegy for russians, georgians, ossetians.
