Well Georgia Girl,
I hate to criticize you, but your president Sakaschvili seriously compromised Nato’s southern flank in that attack on Ossetia, when Abhazia, Ossetia and Russia all ganged up on him in reply.
Of course, as we all know it was not an ‘attack’, because it was made in a bid to bring constitutional order and democracy.
But the timing was not right.
He didn’t make sure he and the allies have enough long-range capacity to reach targets inside Russia.
I like Sakaschvili’s pro-activeness, after all he’s a US-educated lawyer – but any pro-active or enhanced containment of enemy combatants needs better planning!
Hope it’ll be improved soon.
Good luck,
LO
