The eyes mirror the soul, but where do you look for truth? The mind offers one perception, but the heart another. When you look, what do you see! Do you look with your heart or with the mind? Do you simply look with eyes of flesh?
Can you comment this type of proverb?

Eyes and soul are connected.

1= And He (The God) it is Who has created for you ears, and eyes, and hearts; but little thanks do you give. (23:79)

2= Say to the believing men that they restrain their eyes and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Surely, Allah is well aware of what they do.(24:31)

3 = And say to the believing women that they restrain their eyes and guard their private parts,... (24: part of 32)

4= And those who say, ‘Our Lord, grant us of our spouses and children the delight of our eyes, and make us a model for the righteous. (25:75)

5= And no soul knows what joy of the eyes is kept hidden for them, as a reward for their good works.(32:18)

6= He knows the treachery of the eyes and what the breasts conceal. (40:20)

I think there is a connection between the eyes and the soul, because when you look into the eyes of a person you can see that they are tired, sad or happy, so they show the state of it's owner. If it is happy you surely will see it into its eyes, because they will be shining and the smile will appear on the lips, the same way if this person will be tired or sad, its eyes will signalize it, they will be red and a half opened.

The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. Eyes tells everything about its owner.

Really its true. The eyes are the real mirror of the soul. Sometimes many things that a person cant say their eyes say that. By seeing the eyes of any person one can easily understand that what's going on their mind.

“My eyes are an ocean in which my dreams are reflected.”
