Candle - misterious facts

In different religions and cultures candle have different meanings and destinations. Some consider it a pure source of light and spiritual cleaning. but in some cultures it is used as an important piece in a ritual observance. In Christianity the candle is commonly used in worship both for decoration and ambiance, and as a symbol that represent the light of God or, specifically, the light of Christ.
How do you think what is the power of this element?

I think it has a specific power but just for those who believe in that power, because if a person doesn't believe in it then it is a simple candle without some mysterious power. The fire of a candle is a pure fire which purify our souls by its sins, is like a light in a dark place.
