Re: GMO products

Well to be honest with you it's cheaper to by GM products than to be organic. For example, it costs 98 pence to buy a GM watermelon (whole) and to buy an organic one it costs about double the price.... If the prices were at least the same people would probably choose to buy the organic one, but sinc...

Re: Photo

People will invariably try posting nude pics and pornography - so it's probably best to just post external links to pics rather than allowing people to post them on this page...

Re: Colours in different countries

Anyone know what the color brown represents in any country? Here's some info :P In the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s, the German Nazi paramilitary organization the Sturmabteilung (SA) wore brown uniforms and were known as the brownshirts. It was often said of members of the SA that they were like a beefst...

Re: And what will you do for money?

Well the pope doesn't have money and he has a huge amount of power... so do presidents and royalty... so it's not always money that gives you power.

I would work hard for money, nothing more. You should always live within your means and there are always ways of making money.

Re: Converting CO2 to fuel: global warming solved?

I don't think Global Warming can be solved. It's far too late - the ice caps are melting, sea levels are rising constantly. The only thing we can do now is try not to add to the damage already done to the enivronment and stop using non-renewable fuels. I recently came across an article, they are pla...

Re: What are your favourite quotes?

"Love truth, pardon error" - Voltaire.

I hate being lied to, and I always value the truth. I have a tendency to get real p***ed if someone lies to me but I need to just forgive and forget. It causes too many problems otherwise.

Re: FIGHT FEAR, BUT HOW?

How is fear created? I guess it's from past experience... although I don't really know how it works with phobia's. For instance, I was bitten by a dog when I was a child - and now even after about 15 years of it occurring I still fear dogs. I don't fear puppies, because they look harmless... I am qu...

Re: IS POINTING TO AN EXAMPLE A GOOD THINS?

I think it factors down to how the example is being used. If you state the example in a negative and angry manner (to the younger brother, for example), I think you will make the younger one feel inferior and it will be counter effective, since the younger brother will only feel that he is being fro...

Re: DO YOU REJECT THE PRESENCE OF LOVE?

I have been hurt and cheated on twice before the current relationship I am in; my current partner quite frequently declares that she loves me greatly but I find that I always seek to find the worst in her and her declarations. I guess I fear being hurt all over again, it was extremely unpleasant and...

Good evening.

Hi all,

I am a final year international business student, 24, from London. Looking to work as an EU analyst/Business analyst sometime in the near future and I am pro-EU. This forum seems to have some great topics and debates and I hope to be able to take part in them.

P.S I am not a troll.
