What I try and do is have something to look forward to, for example if you know that there is a nice breakfast waiting for me then I am motivated to get up to eat it. Think short term, concentrate on just that one thing, try and not to think about the forthcoming day and try to block out the negativ...

I think the key is learning about how to motivate yourself and finding what works best for you, we are all individuals and work in different ways.
I have been working on a site that promotes self motivation and talks about how to reach our goals, the subject of motivation interests me greatly.

I am a strong believer in the power of positive thinking.
I have taught myself to select positive thoughts when faced with a negative situation. I make a conscious choice to be happy, but it takes effort. I guess a lot of people find it easier to be unhappy!

Personally I think your attitude is the key to success. I am very interested in what motivates us as humans to achieve whatever it is we so desire. Having the correct attitude is the start on the road of learning how to motivate yourself.

I believe in self motivation, I truly believe that anything can be achieved if you have enough motivation to do so.

My outlook on life is simple:
To achieve greatness I must have motivation and willingness.
I use a number of self motivation techniques to enable me to achieve whatever I want to achieve and a willingness to achieve is the key.

I truly believe that any goal you set for yourself can be achieved if you have enough motivation to do so. I guess the secret is how to motivate yourself. I personally use SMART goals all the time to help me achieve whatever it might be.
