Re: Who started the war in S.Ossetia: Georgia or Russia?

The war in South Ossetia was started by Georgia - and only Georgia is to blame. Even Human Rights Watch has now stated this, along with independent observers that are not connectted to American media and government. Human Rights Watch - Q & A: Violence in South Ossetia http://hrw.org/english/doc...

Re: Kosovo's independence...

I think so far they have not done anything to the minorities in Kosova, they are holding jobs just like everyone else. If Serbs refuse to take orders from the former government of Kosova than that is their fault, not cause their rights are taken away. So I have no idea what you are trying to pull h...

Re: Kosovo's independence...

Living in the past  - the past, the past and the past! Europe is not about living in the past. Don't talk about the past. Milosevic is dead and there is a democratic government in Belgrade. The European project is about a European future for all Balkans' nations - including Albanina, Kosovo, S...

Re: Kosovo's independence...

Give them visas and youll see their european manirs. The first order of business for the EU in Kosovo should be to open the "border" and have vise free travel between Serbia and Kosovo. This was being worked on between Brussels and Belgrade, and there should be visa free travel in and out...

Re: Kosovo's independence...

and not only for majority (albanians) but also for minorities serbians, turks, roms, bosnians etc , Kosovars and their Government are accepting EU standards and are more pro EU oriented than serbian or rusian governement. We'll see about that one, the "Kosovo Albanian" majority does not a...

Re: Kosovo's independence...

I'm sorry, but when Serbia is in the EU, there will be no "border" between Kosovo and Serbia. The European Union is much different when it comes to an inclusive society for all - and the preservation of cultural heritage. We dont want border between Serbs and Albanians but Europe and Alba...

Re: How do i get a working permit in EU?

I am from Russia, so I'm not a EU citizen. I need a working permit in Holland. How do I get it? You have to contact the Dutch Embassy in Russia, as work permits are needed for non-EU, third country nationals. I believe that in most European countries you need to have a job to go to already for a wo...

Re: Church set in flames by muslim Albanians in Kosovo

I think I already said that whatever damage was done is over, I do not think that the new government of Kosova will let things like that happened if they want to be and look democratic to the rest of the world. If they do I will be the first to condemn them. Agreed - and the ruling Albanian majorit...

Re: Church set in flames by muslim Albanians in Kosovo

I agree! What will happened with Serbian monasteries in the new Albanian Kosovo? If the "republic of Kosovo" is administrated according to the Ahtisaari Plan, the Serbian Churches would receive special protection. These sites would be part of protectorates and their normal functions...

Re: Kosovo's independence...

Well, I'm ready to engage in discussion that is at a higher level than insults and back biting. :D For example, what should be the policy to build Kosovo into a multiethnic society. I like the Ahtisaari Plan - especially the special status and special rights of the Serbian Orthodox Church. The gover...

Re: Kosovo's independence...

We should be outraged at "Kosovo independence" as both a stab at Serbia, a democratic European nation, and view "Kosovo independence" as a failure of European diplomacy. We should be highly concern about the argument that Kosovo Albanian majority, don't want to live under Serbian...
