Re: Facebook and Odnoklassniki

I don't like facebook. I mean where are the old times?... when people haven't been seeing each other for years, and then meet by accident somewhere in a cafe. I call that nostalgia, that's the taste of life. But now everybody are united and they don't understand what it really means to miss somebody.

Re: Google Founders Buy Fighter Jet

Their speed of development is as fast as the speed of a fighter jet :super
Interesting, who's gonna pilot that plane? An ordinary pilot can't deal with a fighter jet, while professional pilots for those jets are taught by US Airforce.

Re: And what will you do for money?

waw! I love money as well, but I'd never do what those girls did. I pretty and self-respecting girl will find other, natural ways for attracting men and "extract" money. F.e. giving an innocent smile makes a man lose his mind, so you can use this chance and ask him to buy something for you...

Re: Most exotic travels

I call exotic living in an African tribe for a couple of days: sharing the same food, sleeping in the same conditions etc. That's what modern tourism agencies do for the most unusual tourists

Re: Superstitions in different countries

It is believed that if one dies, you should open the windows and doors of the house so that the soul could fly away.

Faw_Peter wrote:In certain African tribes, a boy is not considered to be a human, before circumcision is made to him

Damn :| that's cruel :deg
I heard that most of Jews make circumcision, however this is only due to religious matters. As for African tribes, it could be religion + hygiene reasons as well

Re: Global Warming

Peter, correct. I have the same opinion, as it's enough for me to simply imagine me not driving the car, not being surrounded with modern equipment, devices etc. and I begin to realize that life would become damn boring. :-(

Re: The Great Ways to Go Green!

If you can afford it, make a cash gift to an environmental organization, institution. They know exactly how to efficiently invest your money in order that they have a greater effect on the environment.

Re: Snow and ice melt very fast!

Americans are those who have to primarily worry about this issue, since New York is going to be one of the first cities to take the hit of ice melting. Especially because it's near Greenland.

Re: Alcoholic Scotland

42 bottles of vodka per year? That really impresses, as it's almost one bottle per weak. :roll
maybe one of the reasons are the holidays? Maybe there are too many holidays in Scotland and people relax by... consuming alcohol drinks

Re: United States of Europe?

As we can see, the European Union is already a quite complex system. There are too many deviations among the states' opinions, let alone the United States of Europe. It won't happen as we all are different.

Re: Poor British Immigrant needs work

Poland indeed encounters shortage of manpower. It all began as far back as 2004, when Poland joined the European Union family. The economic condition was so poor, that even during the first several months thousands of Polish people left for Western Europe. They found UK to be most prospective in the...

Re: Hollywood Demands Prison for Pirate Bay Crew

Hollywood representatives are asking for about 10.1 million euros for damages. In my opinion, this amount is not so high, it could have been worse... taking into considerations the millions of files exchanging due to this website. why should someone pay for doing something good. I think there's no ...

Re: Countries that depend on dollar

Nathan, you're right. We all need the dollar. However the crisis time offers us the opportunity to dispose of this dependence. We need to untie the ropes between the American continent and the European one, so that no future American crisis affects the rest of the world

Re: Barbie - 50 years old!

I also remember playing with barbie at my school times :) She was a bit different from what she is today. Currently, her shapes are very perfect. When I was 10, her bust and bot were smaller :slurp
but... probably because children evolve, dolls should evolve as well

Re: Liechtenstein - not anymore a paradise for unfair tax-payers

Among those who used these banks are not only the world's richest businessmen, I'm more than certain that European officials - deputies, parliamentaries, secretaries also used these banks as they knew perfectly how the system works.
