I am very exited. At the CeBIT electronics show in Germany Smasung displayed a new TV set that is transparent and autonomous it is fully powered by solar panels. I believe that this is possible because there is no back light so we use the natural outside light as back light which is a really cool id...

UN Intervention In Libya

"US, French, and British forces began enforcing a UN resolution (1973/2011) to defend civilians in Libya today. French aircraft are attacking tanks, while the US and possibly UK are supporting the operation with cruise missiles from sea."

What do you guys think about this?

Re: Vegetarians Against Health

Cow's milk is for cows babies. Humans do not need cows milk to be healthy, as we do not need dogs milk or rat milk to be healthy. There was a famous research included in "the China Study", that showed Casein, a protein found in Milk, to be responsible for many cancers. There is another fre...

Re: Why a postgraduated student may not be a specialist?

Giuliana, it really depends on your specialty. What faculty did you graduate? Do you have anything to show the employer that proves your skills? Did you thought of starting to work part time for a company in your field 2 years before your graduation?

Re: Oily fish 'can halt eye disease'

Oily fish is not the only product containing omega 3 fatty acids. Hemp and flax oil, walnuts, as well as kelp and spirulina are great sources of omega 3 fatty acids. And these sources do not contain poisonous heavy metals like mercury.

Livestock and Climate Change

What if the key actors in climate change are...cows, pigs, and chickens? The environmental impact of the life cycle and supply chain of animals raised for food has been vastly underestimated, and in fact accounts for at least half of all human-caused greenhouse gases (GHGs), according to Jeff Anhang...

Users Promoting Hate and Warmongering Will Be Banned.

Users promoting hate and warmongering will be banned. If you want to make a change - post something constructive that will solve a problem in a peaceful manner. Re: Vegetarians against health

I think that vegetarians and vegans have a point in protecting animals from humans. With all the consumerism around and people living in cities quite far from nature, few of us realize where meat really comes from with all the nice packages in the supermarket.. Many people have seen animals they eat...
