Well, you know that in some countries a woman can just visit a sperm bank and have a baby... I've read that a number of career women in the USA - especially New York - have taken this option because women outnumber men, and it's hard to find a good husband. Let's face it, plenty of parents split up or get divorced anyway

I know that in the UK, single women and lesbians were using a website www.mannotincluded.com, where they could buy sperm from anonymous donors. The website came under criticism because the children wouldn't be able to trace their natural fathers if they ever wanted to. I'm not sure what happened, but the website doesn't seem to be there any more! So, I assume society finds it unacceptable to have fatherless children?

Hmm, I worked in men's jobs for years and was raised to believe that women can do anything that men do!But a lot of my friends are men, and I can't imagine life without my Dad. I think we should still be nice to men It is good to have a diverse community with lots of points of view.

Women can’t leave without men! Firstly the sperm is collected not for gays and lesbians but for those who can’t have children’s, have medical problems! Secondly I’m agree with Big Becka in child education, I can’t imagine life without dads ! It’s necessary a equal domination. Yes... go away of those to the others. But... the divorce theme has a lot of reasons and I think a baby born is not one of them... Usually a baby unites family and brings a new stage in life

M.Helen - yes you are right that there are many reasons for divorce. You have such a positive outlook regarding children! Sadly in my experience it's not uncommon for men to walk out on their families or pregnant girlfriends, or treat them badly I am starting to think I should move to a country with nicer men!

Or may be you can not imagine a life with one woman? You say "You can not imagine", but yet ,come a day of inspiration and you find other muse, as you said younger, more interesting, more beautiful. That's way women tend to a life without men. When we need you the most you leave us, so....get used ti this.

I have met men who wanted to hold me back professionally... Or have helped me only because they want praise or publicity... And I have met men who wanted me to stay at home and learn to cook and clean (while they have an affair with a skinny blonde dancer) The only men who have truly helped me to develop have been those who ignore my gender and treat me as an equal.

Women have to do everything these days, while men are spoilt by their mothers and favoured by their managers. If I had a child, I think I would prefer not to have some lazy man whining and making a mess in my house, whilst causing stress and stealing my time and money!

I think part of the problem is that I belong to a community that still does not really respect women. Some men treat us like furniture: you buy a house, you buy a car, you get married... and then your boss gives you a big promotion! Other men simply don't want any responsibility: they just want you to replace their mother, and wash their laundry while they play on the computer or go out to the pub. Increasingly men stay living with their mothers until they are in their mid-30s How can a woman respect a man who behaves like a little boy?!

I think part of the problem is that I belong to a community that still does not really respect women. Some men treat us like furniture: you buy a house, you buy a car, you get married... and then your boss gives you a big promotion! Other men simply don't want any responsibility: they just want you to replace their mother, and wash their laundry while they play on the computer or go out to the pub. Increasingly men stay living with their mothers until they are in their mid-30s How can a woman respect a man who behaves like a little boy?!

if the woman is beautiful does not mean that automatically is smart, interesting, housewife and so on. It can only be beautiful! and with a woman which is only beatiful , with whom did not have what to discuss besides fashion and cosmetics, which do not know how to cook an omelet, (not saying about something else) ... not present interest.
