It's funny to watch you all divert onto the oldest topic of the jews, that is discussing jews.

The point here is merely whether the West wants to recognize the newly built role of Russia as the global superpower shouldering off the States off their throne or not? Hence all the indignation and affected fury of Europe.

Russia should keep its superpower spices home, not making wars and killing people, that is what Europe is afraid of, and it's definitely not a case envy here..

A good percentage of the current European countries are ex-soviet states, some, like Poland, Romania, Czech Republic are current members of the European Union. Georgia is an ex-state also, what Europe is saying, is that it is afraid of its integrity and the stability of their independence. They are not naive or pro American they are trying to build peace in the world.
Tell me why Russia attacked other regions of Georgia outside the conflict zone, is that right? To invade a country on the simple basis that some citizens have a double citizenship. how many people around the globe have more than one citizenship, shall we try to start a World War?

wright you are. BUT... USA need russian neigbour contries not only as battleground. USA establishment need east-european people to die in Russia for oil and gas for America and Great Britain.
All i want, all i dream about is europeans start thinking by their own and regards media critically. Russia have just started to scramble out it's economic and political crisis. All russia want is stability in international relations. Stability and absence of double standarts. And know Russia is surrounded by politically agressive pro-american regimes who have come to power by mean of revolutions sponsored by CIA. They permanently blame russia in existing and (mostly) invented (fictional) sins. They block any attempts of Russia and EU build the bridge of friendship. The situation is the same as were in 1918 when russia was attacked from Finland to Far East. American rockets are in Poland and Czech republic. Do you belive this rockets are against of Iran? There are no russian rockets in Mexica - there are american rockets on russian bourder. So who is agressor? USA knew that russia will not let it's citizenry die in S.Osetia. But they still ordered Saakashvili to start conflict. More over they send their weapon and miliary specialists in Georgia. So what is going on in the europe? To my appinion - USA and Great Britain make preparements to the WW3.

We know what americans (I don't mean all Americans^ I know that there're many good people there, I mean Republican government) want to do. We know why they wanna see their rockets in Poland - they say that this is just the defence from Iran - but it's not true: they want to fright Russia. But Russia know it! If America will lie - we will not beleive them, cos we're right. I'm sure, they don't want see our rockets near their country, and so we don't want Estonia, Ukraine, Georgia, Poland, other countries that WE_HAD_FREED_FROM_FASCISTS to be against us... You took away their independence. You installed another tyranny instead, much longer: the Soviet rule from 1945 to 1990-91. Ask any non-Russian older person there. For many of them, fighting together with the Germans against the Soviet troops was a much better option. Not for Jews, but for others, who really did not want communist dictatorship to invade their country.

As for Poland: a rebellion grew in Warsaw in 1944 and was first quite successful. The rebels wanted to install a Polish government in the city before the Red Army antered the city. The Soviet troops were very close to Warsaw, on the other side of the river! They could have helped the Poles to be freed from fascists. Instead, they did nothing! They just stayed on their side of the river and let the Germans massacre the Jews. Clearly, they did not want any Polish people to free themselves, it was against their interest to have Polish heroes, they wanted to enter Warsaw themselves as "liberators".

In the countries freed from Nazists by Western allies, democracy was reinstalled. But in the countries "freed" by the Red Army, communist dictator regimes were installed, against the will of the majority of the people there. You can then wonder why people there do not like Russian-imposed rule...

This is one thing I always wonder, while listening to Russian people: do you really think that you "freed" the people in Eastern Europe?! Don't you see the other side?

My grandma is Pole. She lived on the suburb of Warsaw. All you have wrote here is rubbish. thouthand and thousand soviet people were killed trying to break the german defence and free Warsaw. SU payd a lot of lifes to provide weapon to pole rebels
