I think men often confront with the problem of feet sweating, it's a very unpleasant feeling. I want to share some advices I was told about how to reduce it:
* Excess stress on the feet can aggravate sweating. Ensure shoes fit properly and rest your feet up as much as possible, especially if you have a job which tends to keep you on your feet.
* Getting too hot will make the sweating worse. Keep your overall body temperature cool, especially in hot weather. Most importantly, allow the skin on your feet to 'breathe' by taking off shoes and socks and going barefoot as much as possible, or investing in open-toed sandals (there are some very fashionable ones around at the moment for both women and men). Leather shoes are much better than ones with man-made materials.
* Socks should be made of a material which absorbs water well, such as cotton or wool. Throw out those nylon socks right now!
* Use an astringent or talcum powder on your feet every morning after your shower. Try different ones to find the one which suit you best. Alternatively, you can try using surgical spirit.

why don't you use deodorants for feet? It really worths. You feel comfortable anywhere you go and you're not afraid that somebody's gonna jam his nose!

You men should better follow these advices. I know the smell of men socks....
Also if you can, give each other advices on how to find the second sock... That is a problem for my husband

There are special items placed into the shoe which prevents feet sweaty. The product has double backed adhesive which prevents it from slipping while you’re wearing the shoe.

It's a big shame for men when they go on a visit to somebody's house and when he takes the shoes off, MY GOD, the hosts don't know where to hide! Men please try to use every possible and impossible mean to get rid of the bad feet smell.

I'm a kind of shame to tell you that I'm one of those that have the bad feet smell...lol

I've tried to put the talcum powder and even essential oils to make the smell away, and it's seems to work to me here

If the feet sweat too much, this is a disease. It is caused when your feet are permanently lacked of air. The entire body's skin requires breathing, and if you close it, it's like you close your lungs and stop ceasing. That's why giving more air to your feet might remove the problem.

This is true - you should wear sandals when it's hot and it is good for your feet if you walk around the house barefoot.

walking barefoot on the beach is as pleasant as it is useful. It is considered that warm sand makes your blood circulate faster and thus improve your immune system. + the sweaty problem is solved

Just to boost and make the thread funnier, I read that some women are so used to their husbands' socks, that they can recognize this smell even if they were given 100 socks to smell

Yeah, and it's definitely Finland you are talking about.
If your feet get sweat permanently, then, know it - it's a disease. In order to avoid it, make your foot permanently feel comfy - neither cold nor hot
