Who should bring up babies? The husband or the wife?

Both parents should bring up children... But as father works the whole day to earn money, mother should stay at home and look after their children...she is more skilled in doing this

Of course women, they know how to do it! But the men also should pay attention and participate in their education. Women have a gift from nature to being able to give birth and bring up children.

I am not so sure that all women have this natural gift. I know several women who felt under pressure to look after their children: they gave up their careers, socially isolated themselves, and they became very depressed for the rest of their lives

Some women are forced to give up a good regular salary and rely on their boyfriend's or husband's low wages, which can be very hard.

So, I think the parent who wants to bring up the babies should do it! The happiest families I know are ones where both parents work different or flexible hours, so they can both look after the children. I also know some families where the grandparents regularly look after the children, which seems to work well.

Though, I would love to be a 'stay-at-home-Mom' one day so I won't argue too hard!

I agree with you Beka.... This is important not only for parents but for babies too. In this way they won't feel the absence of a parent, mother/father doesn't matter...

I believe the best is to be brought into the world by both parents ... that is conveived by both, increased in tummy Mommy, daddy helped in this time and then educated in the care and love

woman is one who has the gift to bring children. since the apperance of mankind. then how can be put in doubt who would be born children? I do not think many men are willing to do this instead of women

I don't know yet. I haven't had any babies. I am not even married. I never liked human babies that much. They keep crying and I can't understand their expressions. Sometimes their faces look like they dont have any expressions at all. So may be after I get married, I'll have my wife bring them up mostly. Or who knows if my paternal intincts kick in and I start bringing them up. I brought up 3 dogs, so I guess I can mange to bring up a human child with my wife's help

Never...my kinds will be born by me and only by me...this is the biggest women's destination on earth and I am not going to give up to a laboratory in this regard!
