My favourite movie is "Terminator 2". You can laugh, but when it appeared (1991) I was a teenager and it was SOMETHING for me. Special effects, actors etc.... it was the movie of the year.

American movies are made "nicer" in the matter of special effects, but also the scripts are better.
At movie production, I would definetely say that USA is the best. European producers can't compete with them

Guys, I recently discovered the excellent spaghetti-western(although they were made with small budgets in Italy 70's, were better than the American western). We recommend the dollars trilogy with Clint Eastwood on the music of Ennio Morricone.

but, just remember that there are not many (at least not more) Americans actors in Hollywood. Most of them are from or have been discovered in Europe. It's just that Americans are cleverer cause they know how to use them, and maybe movie budgets are much bigger

oh, what a sad note here "Titanic", "Armageddon", yoy are being very pesimistic. Why don't you mention a comedy, my favorite is "Dumb and dumber". Yes it's old, but good movies are good forever,

why pesimistic? On the contrary, "Armageddon" has a happy end! People survived, that's important, of course not to mention that Bruce Willis died :)

When I watched the movie "300 Spartans" I understood I'm gonna like it for a long time. And it's true - it's a combination of special effects and true history + a computerized background. The script (based on historical events) is very good cause it's unpredictable.

My favourite is "Unfaithful". A movie about a woman who found a lover and in the end her husband killed the guy. Very sad :sweat

yes, I saw that movie too, I liked it. It's strange you liked it, it's really girlish. What I learned from it is that a girl should be independent.

I think European Movies are better than the American ones> American movies are stupid, especially how they call them comedies, but, there are also exceptions. Personally I liked The Pirates of the Caribbean and the Lord of the Rings.

I agree with you Peach. European movies are really more interesting than the American ones. All the American films are just about the same - how they save our planet, or just about the sex. That becomes boring.

My favorite movies are those with Jim Carrey, a very positive and talented actor. His movies are so funny and interesting that I'm sure that I'm not the only one who loves him and his films very much. He is a professional in his domain and that's why he has so many prizes.
