Mantaa Art Festival
Paintings, contemporary art performances, sculptures, photographs, video art are mostly displayed in this festival. These art pieces exhibit a mixture of the traditional as well as modern contemporary style, which greatly appeal to the foreign visitors. The quality of these decorative art pieces are likely to be compared on an international basis. The Finland festival involving men carrying their wives through an obstacle course in the shortest time possible has been taking place in Sonkajärvi, in eastern Finland, since 1992.
