Security improves

Italian police arrested 53 alleged members of the Mafia organisation, known as the Camorra, in the southern Campania region on Monday.

They are accused of Mafia association aimed at extortion, and money laundering. Police seized over 80 million euros in assets, among them several properties and businesses.

Among the arrested is a chancellor that works in the Naples public prosecutor's office, Antonio Orefice.

Italy's four main criminal organisations are the Sicilian Mafia, the Camorra in Naples and the surrounding Campania region, the 'Ndrangheta in the southern region of Calabria, and the Sacra Corona Unita in the southern Puglia region.

Mafia is immortal, other mafia members will continue their former leaders' job

It's curious if there are any mafia members among the Italian government. I think there should be. At least mafia must have some allies in the government in order to cover their crime actions.

I know that in the last few years, like in 2000, I think, there was a large police operation, they arrested a lot of mafia people and along with them some high officials. So it is not excluded that all of them had been eliminated.

Berlusconi wouldn't allow mafia to enter the government. He's a good leader and can really see these things.

Somebody in a TV show aired in USA said that as long as prostitution, gambling and corruption will exist, that long mafia will exist too. These means that basically the Organized crime groups are acting and influencing people's worse emotions like shame, greediness and others

what is mafia? Mafia is a Italian crime organization. I don't think we can define any crime group in the world as being Mafia.
