Saakashvili Has Bribed Estonian Leaders

Saakashvili has bribed Estonian leaders

Leaders of three Baltic States zealously defend Georgian interests in EU. But ideological solidarity is neither here nor there; money that’s the issue! It has come into light that ‘Trustcorp’, owned by ex-Advisor to Estonian President, Lennart Meri, and ex-diplomat, Eerik-Niyles Cross, had made nice profit of the Georgian–Ossetian war in 2008 (georgiatimes. info /en/articles/19583.html).
I wonder how Georgian bankrupted regime does manage to pull such solid fees to Estonian consultants out of its bag. The answer seems quite simple for me – Georgian president has found a wonderful use for money of American taxpayers. Saakashvili wastes US financial support not for realization of social programs in his republic at all. It’s a pity but there is no guarantee that prescribed money for other countries, participated in “Eastern Partnership” program now, won’t go to the same wall...
