Revival Of Fascism

Revival of fascism

Postby Brund » 24 Aug 2009, 13:24

I’m a historian but now I’m dealing with the issue of modern-day fascism and nationalism! I’m just startled by the criminal silence of our Media and politicians about the events happening close by our side!
Let’s call to memory why WWII started. There’re a lot of reasons, of course, but the main one is that we Europeans didn’t prevent Hitler from coming to power on time! And we kept silence when he was taking up arms just in front of us!!
Now [bronze-soldier. com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=21&Itemid=44] former SS soldiers hold rallies all across Estonia , but in time of WWII they were fighting for Hitler and killing innocent people!! Ukrainians praise [en.wikipedia. org/wiki/Stepan_Bandera] Stepan Bandera who also cooperated with Hitler! And we keep silence once again!
[bundesregierung. de/Content/DE/Mitschrift/Pressekonferenzen/2009/08/2009-08-14-pk-sotschi. html] Only the Germans realize that it’s inexcusable to make the same mistake twice!
Our silence can result in another disaster!

our actions also.... :sweat
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

Each has its interests in any movement, and we what will have from the involvement in these processes. At least nothing good, because we have no reason to get involved. Each state must solve political problems because no one can to solve them once they have adopted an independent status! I did not heard the President to ask for help to Europe.

As "a historian" you ought to have realized that WWII did NOT start because "we kept silence when he (Hitler) was taking up arms ... ". :nonnon No. Germany was in dire straights and was suffocating because of restrictions put upon it by the victors of WWI. Hitler was a man who (considering the predicament the country was in) Germany could believe in to bring the country out of its misery. What he did, in the process, was his own personal madness but he was NOT "why WWII started".

What is happening with neo-nazism today is a completely different circumstance and has NOTHING to do with the causes of WWII.

Of course, it was not Hitler who started the WWII and why WWII started. It was Europeans who
didn’t prevent Hitler from coming to power on time
.

I think, "nazism" and "neo-nazism" are just the next names for an old damn phenomenon having been following Mankind for centuries, caused by the human weaknesses (as laziness, idifference, hatred, exsessive stupidity, superficial knowledge, inferiority complex, etc.). Thus the problem of what we may call "European fascism" (or whatever it is called) сan be dealt with due to personal effort of mind of everyone. I believe that, actually, sometimes we're responsible for deeds made by others.

I am sure the examples that you and Brund have given are worth discussing ... BUT ... the MOST OBVIOUS example of Fascism today is not particularly found in Eastern Europe. It is the U.S. They have a similar "nationalism" as the NAZIS and they carry their nationalism (by way of "FALSE national security") onto invading other countries (Iran, Iraq, Nicargua, Panama, Nicaragua, Cuba, Guatamala, Honduras, El Salvador, Chile, Grenada, etc. etc. etc.) the same as Hitler did in Czechoslovakia and Poland.

It should be no surprise that the U.S. is encouraging the same sort of "Fascist thinking" in Europe today. The CIA has been employing subversive operations in Europe (in both East and West) since the end of WWII - and ever since the fall of the USSR the U.S. has been unchallenged world-wide, except for Islamic fundamentalists and a couple of relatively weak, Latin American countries.

The complaint of this thread is good, but the blame is in the wrong direction.

WHAT?! Is this a joke?

I CHALLENGE ANYONE TO PROVE THAT. If I am the same person as Kusnetsov then don´t wait - you can disqualify me immediately. It sounds to me like a CIA scare tactic. You don´t like what I post?

Yes, and he says that we are posting from the same IP! Does that mean that we are using the same computor? It´s just not possible! What kind of technlogy are the admin using? It must be short-circutied.

I say that Bill Clinton did not cheat on his wife with Monica Lewinsky. Bill Clinton is not even married. Bill and Hillary are the same person and also so are Kim Il Jong and Barack Obama.

To Admin:
Many ISPs use shared IPs. How can you say that all users using the same shared IP are the same person? :quoi
Another scenario ... what if my family or friends use a shared computer at home?
This new rule doesn't make sense.

So it is possible that Kusnetsov and I use the same IP? :oO How is that likelyhood affeced by the fact that I´m in Sweden and Kusnetsov is in ... uh, some other country? Does that make the possibility that much less or utterly impossible? And what about a computor that´s purchased in one country but operating in another one? The computor I use at home (here in Sweden) was bought in Slovakia. Does that have any affect? And what do the letters IP stand for, anyway?

Please excuse me for smiling :) but there is one very endearing (almost sympathetic) line in this "warning" ....
