It Is Time For Our European Leaders...

It is time for our European leaders...

To my thinking it is time for our European leaders to make current President of Georgia M. Saakashvili to understand that his orientedness exclusively to the USA may put serious crimp in scheme of our relationship with Georgia now. Our elementary self-preservation instinct should force us to do it in conditions of US constant attempts to re-equip Georgian Army, making its soldiers more battleworthy and combat-ready for any military conflicts near European borders!
Thus, the only way out of so instable (and that is why so dangerous for Europe) situation is the EU try at forcing Tbilisi to change its foreign-policy strategy to neutrality. But I’m sure that it can’t be done till notorious Mr. Saakashvili is in power there. So we should think of advancing those national leaders there, who would be ready to support the necessity of neutral status of Georgian Republic now. It is a question of our own security and that is why we should decide it as quickly as possible, pals!

Yes - you are right about that the orientation of Georgia is more toward American militarism. This is to "impress NATO" for membership.
It is said that NATO's new strategic strategy will be more on offense and take on a more global nature. If this is the case, the European leaders need to decide if they really want a future of participation in America's wars for by American exaggerated "security threats." Does NATO's new doctrine fit with the purposes of the European project, European values - or is it time to head for the Alliance's exit doors.

Georgia needs to be given the choice of a future in the EU or a non-future of isolation in an aging and dying alliance.
