European Parliament, European Counci. and European Commission
- The European Commission is a body of 27 members (one from each state) focused on being independent of national interests. It is responsible for creating all law for the European Union. It also implements the daily running of the Union and has a power to enforce the law and treaties. The Commission is led by a President, nominated by the European Council and agreed by the European Parliament. The other 26 Commissioners are nominated by the EU member-states.
