Saw what happened in China? An earthquake of 7.8 magnitude, over 7,600 people died, awful.

What will happen if this powerful earthquake wil be in Eastern Europe? Will it have all that many casualities? Are their building built to withstand powerful earthquakes?

The skyscrapers in China are more resistant than in Europe, but actually the most of buildings are weakly build. Such a big earthquake can not happen in Europe, since we don't have such seismic zones.

"Guest" you don't need proof for that. It's easy to see with your naked eye. They used other, weaker materials, for building those houses. It's again the problem of Chinese quality

It's a good thing no earthquake happened during the Olympic Games. Can you imagine what harm it would bring to tourists?
