Reading the newspapers & watching TV:

Weren't Ossetians the unworthy uncivilized Russia-loving 'tribe'? Fully deserving the treatment that Georgian president gave them, with cheers from his supporters in the west?

That doesn't bring a lot of friends does it... Brings even fewer friends than just saying 'the unwashed horde' or 'under-people'.

One has to choose words - and one has to get rid of the supremacist/white-beast instincts and culture, either. Even if those instincts are masked by a P/C talk, from politicians and media.
