Why Is It Important To Respond To Our Environment?

Why is it important to respond to our environment?

Postby MaryAWright » 24 Jan 2011, 02:17

For my biology homework I have to answer the question: "Why is it important to respond to our environment?" Our teacher said to list as many as possible. But I can only think of one- so that we can protect ourselves when faced with dangers. What other reasons are there?

10 points for the best answer!
Thanks :)
the topic we are on is to do with the human body, so when the question says "environment" it doesnt mean wildlife etc but it means the things that are around us.

Climate change will have significant negative consequences and we need to take responsibility for our carbon emissions. People have valuable environmental assets that we need to protect from the effects of climate change.
