I just read an article in a site, where an author named Chris Goodall wrote this interesting article, "How To Live a Low-Carbon Life!" and I think you all should have a peek on it...

This article is too much exaggerated. People pollute the environment more than cars do? mmm... not true. If it was so, why didn't the problem of global warming appear earlier as far back as in the 20th century?

Everything which is not chemical can not pollute the air. Humans are humans - we have organs, blood, skin. We can't emit substances toxic for the environment. Let alone livestock, cows eat only grass. These are clean animals.

The best way not to pollute the Earth is starve yourself and waiting for the death...lol After all, you also can become the nutrient when you're RIP!

A man can live without meat. Actually there are millions of vegetarians on this planet. Maybe soon somebody will write an article saying that vegetarians also pollute the air...
It's just that people are so tired of doing nothing, that they sometimes have to invent some stories and PR them.

thanks for agreeing Will. Also, if believing this article, can you imagine how the world "must have been polluted" during the dinosaurs' era?

They were thousand times bigger than humans and livestock. As we know, they died not because of global warming 8-)

In a way I agree with the author of this topic, people do pollute the environment, but not themselves but by creating and using their machines, cars, technique, by throwing away wastes, etc. The human's harmful activity now can be observed from all the parts of the world.

For me of course driving cause I live far away for work place! For the nature and body ...walking is better! Nowdays nothing is good! Food is bad, driving bad, life conditions also bad! so let's find a better planet! How about Mars?

you must know that is a kind of transport that does not pollute, it's good for the body and health ... and also a strength that is not supposed to stay stuck in traffic with it ! taaaadaaaa ... bicycle!

I have a bicycle and I like to ride it,but everyday to go at work on it is awful, and impossible for me. I even can imagine...in suit, on a bicycle, 40 miles to the work and back. no is to much :nonnon

I think that walking is healthier than to drive and not pollute the environment, but the cars are a way to move us, to build and to progress in all. Today do not think we can do many things without transport. Walking is very healthy and recommended, but we can not go miles every day to work and back.

Walking has two way benefit, in the environment and with my own health. I guess I have to go with walking although I daily use my car. Yet, article lessens my guilt a little bit

I absolutely disagree with that article, we should walk every day at least 15-30m. in order to support our health. Scientists proved that walking is the best exercise to maintain your health. I like walking and I always go by foot if I have enough time to not be late.

I also think that it is exaggerated because we can not just refuse to go on foot, it is impossible, contrary we should walk at least 30 min - 1 hour per day to feel healthy. A good walk before sleep bring to a better sleep, it can help those people who suffer from insomnia, because during walking we are relaxing our organism and breath clean air and that is helping to sleep well.

I agree with your post!!! People will always try to bring lots of issue to contradict the reality. Innovative discussions are usually part of life to many people who interestingly don't have to be professional in that field, just a mind blogging event and everybody rush for this new thing yet its a corrupt of previous article.
